Picture Day
Today was picture day at the daycare and apparently the children took that to mean that they needed to be extra difficult.
As soon as Cole saw the shirt that I was going to put on him he said, "Oh, no. Not THAT one." Then he saw the pants. "I not wear pants. I wear shorts. I wear my play clothes." By the way, I don't think I've ever referred to his clothes as "play clothes". I'm not sure where he got that. I did eventually get him into his clothes but he threw a major fit over it.
I got Rylie dressed and she looked adorable and off we went. I gave her a cup to drink on the way. When we got to daycare, I realized that instead of drinking it she decided that it would be much more fun to pour it down the front of her dress. (And it was a sippy cup, I just grabbed one of the ones that she's chewed on the top so much that it just pours out.) At least milk doesn't really stain and I knew that it wouldn't show in the picture *if* they would just wait until it dried.
Of course, the picture guy was set-up and ready to go when we got there even though he wasn't supposed to start for another half-hour. Pictures come back in 10 days. I guess I'll find out then if we just got pictures of a temper tantrum and a milk stain.
